Hailey's Room

I let Hailey choose the color of her room too, I love how it makes the red pop!  I'm also glad she wanted the scallops too, they are such a fun detail.

Now you can see the rosette valance where it was meant to be hung.

Hailey loves her window seat! We had fun making pillows.

A nice hidden spot for Tianna.

Toy kitchen re-do

When I decided to put the kid's kitchen in my kitchen I knew it needed a little face lift.  New knobs and a curtain to match my curtains did the trick.  I love having the girls pretend cooking while I'm making dinner.  Everyone should have a play kitchen in their real kitchen.

Laundry/Sewing Room

My sewing nook.  I'm glad I chose the small wall to stencil, it took a long time but I love it!

Looking into the sewing room from the Kitchen.

The Laundry side of the room.

Upstairs Hall Bath

The girls bath, they are loving having their own bathroom.  It's bright and cheery.  I painted the cabinet white and the walls a fun green, it really brightened things up.

Rosette Valance

One thing I love making almost as much as pillows is curtains. I love coming up with fun unique ideas. We are moving and I have been busy making things for the new house (since I can't sleep with all the ideas dancing around in my head).

These are curtains to go above Hailey's window seat. I'm really happy with the way they turned out. This picture was taken on her current window (I don't want you to think I think those are the right size). They will actually be against a blue wall, I'll post pictures of every thing once we're moved.

Hailey wanted to be in the pictures since they are her curtains, I think she is finally getting excited. She hugged the curtains when they were done, I guess she likes them.

Final details for Carissa

The turquoise flower pillow is one of my favorites to make. They are fun in any color and each one turns out a little different. I fell in love with them in a picture with a sofa covered with these pillows in all colors and textures.

Decorative trims make the details stand out. The simple pompom trim on the drapes turned them from plain to perfect for a fun teenagers room.
