Rosette Valance

One thing I love making almost as much as pillows is curtains. I love coming up with fun unique ideas. We are moving and I have been busy making things for the new house (since I can't sleep with all the ideas dancing around in my head).

These are curtains to go above Hailey's window seat. I'm really happy with the way they turned out. This picture was taken on her current window (I don't want you to think I think those are the right size). They will actually be against a blue wall, I'll post pictures of every thing once we're moved.

Hailey wanted to be in the pictures since they are her curtains, I think she is finally getting excited. She hugged the curtains when they were done, I guess she likes them.

Ruffle Shower Curtain

When I saw the ruffled shower curtain on Anthropologie I was a little appalled at the price or $118. Now that I've made a similar one I'm not sure that they are charging enough.

This was a fun and time consuming project which I'm glad I decided to do before we move. I love love love how it turned out and I think it is going to give my girls' bathroom just the fun girly look I was hoping for.

Foot Stool

The first picture is the before picture.

My Daughter fell in love with this little stool as soon as we got it, she said it was the perfect size for her to sit on. She even loved it just the way it was. Unfortunately for her we didn't have anywhere to put it.

We just bought a new house and now she will have her own room with the perfect spot for this little foot stool right by her window seat.

This was the first time I've used nail head and I absolutely love them. They really are fun to use.
